Rooted in what's happening around her, Doiron's songwriting is direct and – sometimes painfully – honest, laying bare the challenges, triumphs, heartbreaks and highpoints, through beautifully crafted, lyrical language and melodies. Today she shares secrets of her craft, and explores how you can use personal experience – dramatic or domestic – for brilliant songwriting.
