Wang Juan began her musical career by covering pop songs in the bars and clubs where she worked. This successful foray into the Chinese music scene sparked her passion to create her own music. Her music is folksy and simple, at first just consisting of her acoustic guitar and her beautifully clear voice. In the second half of 2002, Wang Juan began playing regular shows at the River Bar every Thursday night. Through this increased exposure, she was able to meet guitar player Han Leng and drummer Chen Zhipeng. These two skilled musicians have assisted Wang Juan in filling out her sound and finding the success she has today. Wang’s single "Always A Question", was released on the album Badhead 2 Girl's Day (VA) by Modern Sky.
