The Lumineers完美预热 // The Lumineers pics are through!

Were you at the SH/BJ shows? And did you wonder why the band were so strict with filming / photography? It’s madness. Hands shaking, people fidgeting uncontrollably – one guy was even ‘air texting’. It turns out they have a pretty good reason. Time Out get the inside scoop, with Wesley Schulz explaining:

‘I understand that there is an impulse to have our phones out in nearly every possible place imaginable – at dinner, waiting in a line, at a wedding, on a beach, on the toilet – pretty much anywhere … [b]ut it doesn’t mean that this impulse is something we need to act on. The problem with cell phones out and recording video at live shows is multifaceted: the footage itself is generally poor in quality, the sound especially, and rarely re-viewed; the assumption is that people who are on Facebook would want to see your concert footage. They don’t. By putting a phone into the air and recording the show, you are distracting folks around you from being directly engaged in the show and instead focusing on a tiny TV; most importantly, you are distracting yourself from the show.’

We’ve finally snagged some official pics of the shows – thanks to everyone who turned up, amazing vibes.
