Artistic director, Bill Aitchison works in and between performance, writing, video and audio. At the centre of the work is performance which thrives upon the danger of the moment and sense of being part of something unrepeatable. His performances are both rigorously structured and dynamic in their execution. Each are significantly different, though as a whole have a consistent style being open-ended, formally precise and using dry humour.

Here are some videos of his past projects:

Jenevieve Chang Stories

============================================================================

Writer and performer Jenevieve Chang is about to close a book deal on her novel about her Chinese-Australian childhood, mixed in with her heady time in 2008-2010 working as a dancer at China Town Burlesque Club, Shanghai. She has just completed a season of a show called ‘Stories Then and Now’, directed by William Yang & Annette Shun Wah. In the show, she recounts her ancestral family crossing from China to Australia in the 20th century juxtaposed against her own personal history living and working in Shanghai almost 100 years later, through a series of personal photographs, storytelling and performance.
